There are several articles written about Love, especially those which refer to it as being blind …like the scales of justice! It makes us vulnerable …we make mistakes. We choose the wrong partners because we are in love…we ignore infidelity…we forgot betrayal….we commit crimes…we commit suicide…we wage war…all in the name of Love! There are facts facing us showing that something is wrong…there are people’s reaction telling us that something is out of line. but we still choose to ignore it….just because we are in love! We live in the same homes, share the same bed, but still there is no connection simply because we are not blood relation who can (in our minds ) never do wrong! You spend your life looking for that wonderful emotion but it never comes . We are at the end of the blood relation line . Maybe we should start caring for ourselves. That’s life. What a shame! At the same time, we should also think about other equally important emotions…like trust , sincerity and honesty! Is the love of a viper more important than the honesty of a snail? Doesn’t love cause misunderstandings when we don’t fully express all that we feel? Of course it does! So it’s time , once again, to reflect on the question,,,,is Love really blind? But Love is an emotion. How can it be blind? It does not have ears nor eyes! It dwells in the hearts of people. So it boils down to this…it’s the people who are blind,,,,not Love. The people are the ones making the mistakes , and putting all the blame on beautiful , innocent Love! What a shame. Accept your mistakes and move on! You can never hide. GRAB WHATEVER YOU WANT, AS TIGHTLY AS YOU CAN,,,YOU WILL ALWAYS BE SWEPT AWAY AND BE DEVOURED BY TIME!!!

Being old and getting older are entirely two different sides of the same coin..life! If we are 22 years and advance to 23 years, we are getting older…but , at the same time, being 70 years old and going on to seventy one, we are still getting older even though people may say that we are already old! So what? Big deal! Old age should be worn like a crown…we are the kings and queens of experiences. Our wealth lies in our knowledge of life ..of all it had to offer….poverty, riches, sickness health, and even its joys and sorrows! Some people never had the opportunity to fully enjoy all the fruits of life due to the unexpected arrival of the grim reaper, thus being denied of that ! Their lighted candles were suddenly extinguished by the howling winds. It’s a joy being called Gramps or Grandpa,,,a feeling of love and being loved! That makes you the richest persons on earth,,,what a wonderful life this is! When we are on the streets, robbers seek out us as the first of their victims because .to them, we are weak and fragile,,,sometimes, our own family mistreat and abuse us just because of our age. To some people, we appear senile..devoid of intelligence or knowledge,,but don’t worry, we hope they live long enough to experience the feelings we experienced when we were being mistreated! At that old age, please stop making excuses for not wanting to leave our earthly bodies when it’s time ,,we say that our work here is not done,,,,we still have to fix the house,,we still have to get money for our children.. we haven’t been to that country as yet,,,,excuses,,excuses! At that time, let our thoughts move forward,,,there are some beautiful people anxiously awaiting our arrival,,,we must not disappoint them. Let them wait no longer than necessary. What will my Mary say if i don’t go?

Is there a goal,,(maybe gold) in your life? Are you a drifter through this journey on earth? Are you a person without a shadow which is desperately trying to catch up with you? Then you don’t have to be! Let there be a purpose,,a goal,, and then your miserable life will be dramatically changed into something rich and meaningful. There will be a metamorphosis . From a larva, you will become a beautiful butterfly gracefully fluttering its wings, moving around and enjoying life! You will not be someone struggling to keep afloat in the vast ocean of nothing ,with no land in sight,,you will not be a drowning man clutching at a straw! As it was mentioned earlier ,there will be a guiding light at the end of your long and dark tunnel,,,there will be a sunrise after your restless night which was filled with nightmares. Some people use a list to define their goals…others just make wishes. Whatever it is, we have a target. These goals are realized by some by going to church (which some use as a gossip center or a fashion show) ..some use extreme measures by becoming suicide bombers with the promise of going to heaven..some become great parents by providing for their homes, and properly guiding their children. Even children have their goals by pursuing a career of their choice . and excelling at it! After a long hard day of fulfilling our objectives, we can now safely anticipate a good night’s rest..be it peaceful or peacefully permanent..it doesn’t matter! In our hearts, we did our best for our loved ones and others .Actually , upon deeply reflecting on everything, Love was the key to our actions. It is said that the level of intelligence has no impact on your love for someone! That is infinitesimal . Whatever you feel for someone comes from the heart which has no connection to intelligence! The heart has no education…it never went to school… but it perceives everything! ! So pick up your goal today, before it’s all gone!

Beneath the seemingly calm ( almost asleep) surface of the vast ocean lies a terrifying terrain lined with the graves of the lost…the sea has claimed and will protect its possessions! Within the garden filled with beautiful roses in all their glory and beauty where someone will be tempted to pluck a single one, there is a thorn anxiously awaiting for that move! Where there is a long winding road with no traffic in sight, one may just be moved to walk in the middle unaware of that speeding vehicle coming around the bend! In every person, no matter how happy or carefree he seems, there lies deep down , almost suppressed, the fear factor. Once in a while, this fear will rear its hideous image, ..at other times , it will wear the cloak of darkness, and patiently awaits its opportunity when it can rule the day…overcome the person’s emotional barrier and be in control. When that happens, it’s your doomsday! You may be happy now , but you still worry about its shelf life. Will she stay with me for always, or am i living in dreams? Will i still be able to write after a while, or will my brain have a meltdown, and i will dissipate like Frosty on a hot summer’s day? Will i be around for my granddaughter’s next birthday? All these are your fears resurfacing! As i mentioned , the fear factor is always lurking around the corner! For some people, they worry because Mr. Old Age is creeping gradually towards them …they are fearful of the unknown! But why should you spend your time living with the fear factor? Everything has an expiration date (except Time, i guess) . It’s only Life and Death!

Before you can really enjoy riches, you must experience poverty….being born in a rich family does not qualify you for that appreciation! Having all that possession or assets will not automatically put you in the driver’s seat. I guess that is why drivers are hired to take you around! In the old days, the doctors will tell you to eat or drink certain foods or liquids,,,and you willingly or blindly do it. There is no thought behind your reasoning…..just follow the doctor’s orders , and then you will be fine. You don.t even know what ails you, but you still willingly obey…like your wish is my command! Now is a different era…it is the time of the ” whys ” and the wise. The doctors are telling you to wear a heart monitor….you should ask the question..WHY. Always try to be informed about your condition ..if in doubt, seek a second opinion from another doctor..be fully aware about your condition,,both physically , mentally, emotionally and all the rest which concerns you! I guess you always hear about the beauty of the rainbow,,,but wasn’t there rain before? You hear about a couple being madly in love,,,,soon after, divorce is hovering over them! Before the marriage, there is so much courting going on,,,,roses,,chocolates,, gifts,,kisses and all the frills ,,,,like window shopping before xmas. After the wedding ,couples forget one of the basics of a successful marriage ( i am by no means a marriage counselor ) and that is to always be attractive to your partner..never forger the courting days..let every day be like that…and never forget to say those three little mighty words! Before, your mind was clouded, but now the enlightening rays of sunshine are coming through! !

Roses are considered to be one of the most beautiful flowers, especially with that romantic fragrance. It is no surprise then that millions of people send these to their loved or their special ones who obviously will be really overjoyed at receiving them. This is a flower for every occasion,,,be it birthday, valentine’s day, xmas day or any day.. ..there is a rose! People don’t have to think twice when choosing a gift. Do you ever consider your body as being your rose? It is extremely important to you…it is your vehicle that propels you to do wonders….it makes you complete your journey in life! Imagine losing a limb, or an eye or another part of your body, it is your rose losing a petal! Your body may also be considered as your temple ….the home of your devotion…your blessing….please do not abuse it…like consuming too much alcohol…committing suicide…willfully physically hurting others or doing anything to hurt it….that will also be similar to destroying some of the rose petals. The plants also need to be nurtured with goodness to be flourishing with vitality..and beauty..and aroma. Don’t forget that! Above all, let there be love..the most essential ingredient! The inner core where the rose resides is in your heart. Never let it be brokenhearted because a broken heart is a withered rose that has lost its hypnotic fragrance!

There are teachers for everything…..education, dancing, self defense, cooking and so many other things including stealing….but who is the teacher of life? Experience! Many persons do not realize, or just ignore the importance of the role of teachers in society. Ignore the salary! That is nothing much to talk about .We are talking about those people who shape the minds of future important personalities! They are your parents for that period, and treat you as such. Education should be a priority in our lives. Most individuals have that opportunity, but do not grab it, while others never have a chance. In some countries, children are busy helping their parents surviving, and hence were denied that, but i am sure , they strive for their children to have it! The role of a teacher is not an easy one, and requires infinite patience! Apart from preparing for the lesson of the day, teachers have to plan their introduction to the topic, state their objectives, encourage participation, and deal with several individual minds! They have to make their lesson so interesting that it grabs the attention of the students. Teachers are not robots, and do develop affection for their students …students also become attached to their teachers….and, on graduation day, everything pours out! Some are lucky to encounter each other in the future with an aura of pride hovering over them! But the task of developing young minds never cease! Education is the tool we need to shape the future. If not for the teachers, where would we be?

In the land of the BLIND , the one-eyed man is the KING! How can there be a one-eyed man ? It is the land of the blind! Now we return to the concept of right and wrong. It depends on the audience. They are either being fooled, or biased, or just plainly accept what they are being told. So the speaker is right. Then there are those who disagree because they can’t understand or know differently…hence the speaker is wrong! You yourselves have probably encountered several similar situations where this is the case! There are several qualified persons being interviewed for a job…only one is chosen because he is either the right one or has provided the correct answer even though this person may be the least qualified. Millions play the lotto…does the majority win, or is there a single winning ticket being held by a lucky someone. So , right or wrong , even though this person bought one single ticket while others spent hundreds,,that’s the winner! How do we differentiate right from wrong? Is it all in our minds , or are there physical forces at work? In some cases, there may be actual Physical forces at work….like a sheepdog herding her flock. History has had some classic examples of right and wrong….like the king is always right and the people are always wrong, and had to bow to him as he passed! Is it wrong to beg when we can work, or is it right to work when we can beg ? What about those who are diligently seeking employment, but cannot find….should they beg or starve? These are desperate times, and we find that holding on to our sanity is extremely difficult! We have to be the ones to judge ourselves…are we doing right or wrong? Should we say that everyone is right or wrong according to which side of the the coin we are seeing?

When there are tears, i will wipe them away…….when there are fears, it will only be for a day….when you are lonely, i will keep you company,,,,,,,whatever you desire, it will be my pleasure…even if you want the moon, i will give you that soon… even if you want the stars, they will soon be in a vase….your very existence will always inspire …..all my writing, all my dreams, all my desire………all i beg is that you never change, and in hurtful actions, never engage……i promise i will never break your heart…….should i do that, let me be taken from this earth……please stay with me day by day, and i will make you happy in every way……you are the air i breathe, the rose i smell, and in your heart, i will always dwell!

As I lay on my bed, hopelessly engulfed in watching my tv series , my mind suddenly wandered and I started looking down on Earth, wondering what kind of people were living on that planet! Were they different from me or the same? I couldn’t analyze anything because I wasn’t certain whether I was asleep of awake! My thoughts were muddled as i transgressed from one phase to another…it seemed as if i was in a train, speeding past all the stops so i couldn’t grasp anything ! I wasn’t watching any tv….was any tv really there? Later , I was chatting with someone on messenger, and it seemed so unreal…i had always wanted that chat, but that could only have happened in a dream…it was so beautiful! Was this person from the planet named Earth? Is Life playing a dirty joke on me..separating my body from my soul? Am i two persons? Is that why Planet Earth seem so overpopulated? Maybe I should visit there and check whether my body is there ! I am just an entity but I still need a body..I need to use my senses. As a matter of fact, we all need to use our senses so we can differentiate right from wrong. So , don’t be me ..I am already lost! Find your true selves…your true nature!
